The Conflict, Stability and Security Fund- CSSF is the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s
(FCO) global fund supporting the efforts in the region to tackle illicit economies, serious and
organised crime and corruption in Colombia, Peru and Panama primarily (but with potential to
cover linked events in other neighbouring countries).

We are seeking an implementer to undertake a regional investigative journalism project which
focuses on the dynamics of corruption, serious and organised crime and illicit economies. How
these dynamics are interacting with the current COVID-19 pandemic might also be a focus of
project activity.

UK PACT Programme:
UK PACT is funded by the UK Government’s Department for Business Energy and Industrial
Strategy (BEIS) as part of the UK’s International Climate Finance (ICF) portfolio. The programme
works in partnership with high greenhouse gas (GHG) emitting countries that are eligible for
Official Development Assistance (ODA) to support them to implement and increase their
ambitions for GHG reductions in line with their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and
the long-term goal of the 2015 Paris Agreement to limit dangerous climate change. Since its
inception in 2018, UK PACT has already supported 33 clean growth projects across China,

Proposals addressing the direct health impacts of COVID-19 in LMICs that fall within the scope of
priority areas 3 (epidemiology), 4 (clinical management), 5 (infection control), 9 (social sciences
and humanities responses to the outbreak) of the WHO COVID-19 Global Research Roadmap, or
the indirect consequences of the pandemic through other health issues on LMICs, such as (but

Applications will be accepted from eligible institutions based in the UK or in LMICs. The call is

Our Scientist Next Door project is there to give us a platform to share our passion for science and

that impacts our daily lives, and share ideas and resources.
This was started by a small group of scientists from the Universities of Durham and Edinburgh.

The Frontiers event will take a virtual format, in November 2020 (dates TBC) with a theme of
‘Resilient Resource Use’.
Descripción This interdisciplinary international symposium is run in collaboration with the Royal Society,
general British Academy and Academy of Medical Sciences. The event is for early- and mid- career
researchers, practitioners and innovators, and offers the opportunity to apply for £20,000 grants
for partnerships that have been created throughout the event.
