"¿Cómo poner en valor el trabajo de nuestros productores a través de un concurso de belleza
vauno? El programa revelación del verano. Miss y Míster Ternera Asturiana se convirtió en el
primer programa de televisión de Asturias en el que se elegía la mejor vaca y el mejor toro de
la región.
Todas las ganaderías participantes enviaron un vídeo a la fase de casting contando las
propiedades de sus animales.
Un jurado profesional se encargó de seleccionar a los candidatos para las tres semifinales, una
por cada zona geográfica: oriente, centro y occidente de Asturias.
En cada semifinal el jurado eligió una vaca y un toro para representar a su zona en la gran final
de Miss y Míster Ternera Asturiana en la categoría ""Valle"", así como una vaca y un toro más en
la categoría ""Montaña"" en representación de todas las zonas.
De esta forma, cuatro vacas y cuatro toros llegaron a la gran final. Fue entonces cuando la
última palabra la tuvo el público desde casa votando a través de internet a sus candidatos
favoritos. Al mismo tiempo un jurado formado por famosos se encargó de premiar otras
cualidades de los animales como la mejor fotogenia, el mejor andar, el premio a la simpatía...
De los votos de los espectadores salieron Miss y Míster Ternera Asturiana 2021. Ganadores
elegidos por el público."

programme of the summer. Miss and Mister Ternera Asturiana became the first television
program in Asturias in which the best cow and the best bull in the region were chosen.
All those participating farms sent a video to the casting phase telling the properties of their
animals.
A professional jury had the task of selecting the candidates for the three semifinals, one for
each geographical area: east, center and west of Asturias.
In each semi-final the jury chose a cow and a bull to represent their zone in the grand final of
Miss and Mister Asturian Beef in the “Valley” category, as well as one more cow and one more
bull in the “Mountain” category representing all the areas.
In this way, four cows and four bulls came to the grand final. It was then that the last word was
the audience from home voting through the internet to their favorite candidates. At the same
time a jury made up of famous people was in charge of rewarding other qualities of animals
such as best photogenic, best walking, prize for sympathy ... From the votes of the viewers
came Miss and Mister Asturian Beef 2021. Winners chosen by the audience."
