No es una regla general, pero uno de los primeros pasos que damos en el mundo de la lectura es a
través de los cómics o historietas, ¿es éste tu caso?
Independientemente de la respuesta que hayas dado, seguramente conoces o has escuchado el término
cómic, cuyos orígenes se encuentran entre la aparición de la imprenta, en 1446, y de la litografía, en
1789. Sin embargo, no fue sino hasta 1938, con el nacimiento de Superman, el primer súper héroe de la
historia del cómic, que surgieron los cómics de este género tal como los conocemos hoy.
Ahora es muy común que, cuando nos hablan de cómics, inmediatamente pensamos en Marvel y en
DC, más específicamente, en Captain America, Iron Man, Spiderman, Superman, Batman y/o Wonder
Woman, los personajes más populares en el mundo de los cómics y que en las últimas dos décadas se han
convertido en el foco de las producciones de películas más grandes y taquilleras de todos los tiempos en
el mundo.
Además de contar con historias de superhéroes con los cuáles nos identificamos, y más allá de ser
excelentes para el desarrollo de la lectura, los cómics pueden ser uno de tus mejores aliados para
involucrarte en el mundo del aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma, ya que cuando estás desarrollando una
nueva habilidad, como lo es aprender a hablar inglés, es muy importante que disfrutes lo que estás
haciendo, de modo que no sientas que estás estudiando, y qué mejor que con las aventuras de tus
personajes favoritos.
