Dear Parents,
The Extended Day program cost is $525 a year or $262.50 per semester per child.
You must pay in advance with Sra. Ladriere in the front office for the first semester
or you may choose to pay in full at once.
Payment is expected before Extended Day begins, and the fee is
non-refundable — as it is a Tax Credit.
The program offers two sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The first half
runs from 2:45 to 3:40 and the second from 3:55 to 4:45. The fee is the same for one or two
sessions.
If children will be picked up before 4:45, we ask they be signed out in the office. If your
child needs to be checked out early, try to make it at 3:40 which is the end of the first session,
this will avoid interruptions to instruction. If you are picking up your child at 4:45 please go
directly to the cafeteria.
Parents MUST come into the office and Sign students out with the adult in charge. Please
pick up students by 4:45 p.m. If your child walks home, he/she must leave immediately after
4:45. Please be aware that we don’t have a crossing guard on duty at this time. Please
contact Sra. Moreno if you are running late.
We encourage you to leave your child in sessions as much as possible. They will achieve
more continuity in their learning. If students are placed in a class and don't attend daily, they
may be taking the space that other children wanted.
Extended Day is a learning enrichment program, but it is also a privilege; we have the
right to exclude students from the program. We try to keep the children in the
program as much as possible; but if a child continues to endanger him/herself, others,
or is being a detriment to instruction, then the child will be suspended from the
program for the remainder of the school year.
Steps-Discipline Policy:
❖ 1st Referral to Coordinator and Parent = 1st Warning - Phone Call
❖ 2nd Referral to Coordinator and Parent = 2nd Warning, possible temporary
suspension, consequences determined by director - Phone Call
❖ 3rd Referral- Expulsion from program (fee is non-refundable) - Meeting with the
parent

PROGRAMA DE DIA EXTENDIDO:
El costo del programa de día extendido es de $525 por año o $262.50 por semestre por
cada niño. Deberá pagar en avanzado en la oficina de Sra. Ladriere por el primer semestre o
puede escoger pagar por todo el año. La cuota es la misma para una o dos sesiones.
Se requiere pagar antes de empezar el programa de día extendido, y
la cuota no es reembolsable – puesto que es un crédito de impuestos.
El programa ofrece dos sesiones durante los lunes, martes, jueves, y viernes. La primera
sesión es de 2:45 a 3:40 y la segunda sesión de 3:55 a 4:45. Si su hijo(a) necesita salir
durante día extendido, favor de firmar su salida en la oficina. Le pedimos tratar de
esperar a las 3:40 que es el final de la primera sesión; de esta manera, no hay interrupción
en su aprendizaje. Es requisito que los padres o adulto encargado de recoger al
alumno al fin de día extendido entre a la cafetería y firmen la salida del alumno.
Favor de recoger a su hijo(a) a las 4:45 pm en punto. Si su hijo(a) camina a su casa, debe
salir inmediatamente a las 4:45, después de firmar en la cafetería. Tenga en cuenta que no
tenemos monitor para cruzar a esta hora. Si por algún motivo va llegar tarde, favor de
avisarle a Sra. Moreno.
Los animamos a que dejen a sus hijos en las sesiones el más tiempo posible. Hay
continuidad en el aprendizaje. Si los estudiantes entran a una clase a la cual no asisten
diariamente, no aprovechan de las clases y pueden estar utilizando campo que otros
desean.
El programa de día extendido es un programa de aprendizaje y enriquecimiento,
pero también es un privilegio; tenemos el derecho de excluir a estudiantes del
programa. Tratamos de mantener a los estudiantes; pero si un estudiante continúa
a ponerse en peligro o poner en peligro a otros, o es detrimento para la instrucción,
ese estudiante será suspendido por el resto del año escolar.
Pasos de la Regla de Disciplina:
*Primera infracción a la coordinadora y padre = Primera advertencia - Llamada
por teléfono
*Segunda infracción a la coordinadora y padre = Segunda advertencia y posible
suspensión temporal (determinado por el/la directora del programa) - Llamada por
teléfono
*Tercera infracción a la coordinadora y padre = Expulsión del programa -Junta
con los padres (la cuota no es reembolsable)
