Director's Section
DSST College View Families,
Welcome to February! We are nearing the end of Trimester 2. We are
so proud of the work that our students have been doing in Trimester
2. Students have been engaging in Socrative Seminars, engaging
morning meetings celebrating culture, and preparing for the
upcoming PSAT and SAT tests.
Final Exams are just a few weeks away. Please encourage your
students to ensure that all work for the trimester is completed prior
to Final Exams. Our PSAT (for 9th and 10th grades) and SAT (for 11th
grades) will take place on Tuesday April 14. This assessment is
critically important for college applications. Please reach out to your
student’s advisor if you have any questions.

Community Engagement
Attention all College View Parents/Guardians: we are pleased to be offering a new paranting course called Raising Highly Capable Kids. This
course is being offered by our community partners The Libre Institute and will take place at College View High School starting the week of
February 3rd.
Raising Highly Capable Kids will help parents develop skills that support students social, emotional, and academic abilities - including decision
making, empathy, conflict resolution, and more.
