Hello everyone!
The issues of 2020 have placed much of our St Patrick parish life on
hold. What has united us this whole year has been the Holy Spirit
Project. For twelve months we prayed, “Holy Spirit, ignite your fire
in us!” Hundreds of us every weekend asked for his fire and now we
want to harvest the fruit of this connection to the Holy Spirit.
We are beginning a special time called the Holy Spirit Fruit
Initiative (HSFI). For nine months we will connect to God,
gathering these fruits—love, joy, peace, self-control, patience,
kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and goodness—for us and for
many others. The HSFI will have three dimensions.
First, each parish household is invited to be part of a group called a
Fruit Bundle. Each Bundle will connect to a fruit of the Spirit,
making its member responsible to ask daily for this fruit. This
dynamic will be helped by the use of yard signs and doorknob
hangers. Our goal is that each Bundle group will gather, in-person
at Country Fest 2021.
Second, we offer Fruit Formation. We will take time to learn about
each of the nine fruits and see how to live them in our daily lives.
Finally, there will be Fruit Events that connect us to our parish that
allow each parishioner to join together, even when each can
participate at different moments and in safe ways.
The HSFI looks to unite us more deeply to God and to each other.
Let’s work together and see how the Spirit’s Fruit brings us life!

¡Saludos a todos!
Los problemas de 2020 han dejado pendiente gran parte de la vida
de nuestra parroquia San Patricio. Lo que nos ha unido todo este año
ha sido el Proyecto del Espíritu Santo. Durante doce meses
oramos: "¡Espíritu Santo, enciende tu fuego en mí!" Cientos de
nosotros cada fin de semana pedimos su fuego y ahora queremos
cosechar el fruto de esta conexión con el Espíritu Santo.
Estamos comenzando un tiempo especial llamado la Iniciativa del
Fruto del Espíritu Santo (IFES). Durante nueve meses nos
conectaremos con Dios, recolectando estos frutos — amor, alegría,
paz, dominio propio, paciencia, amabilidad, mansedumbre,
fidelidad y bondad — para nosotros y para muchos otros. La IFES
tendrá tres dimensiones.
Primero, se invita a cada hogar parroquial a ser parte de un grupo
llamado Colectivo de Frutos. Cada Colectivo se conectará con un
fruto del Espíritu, haciendo que su miembro sea responsable de
pedir diariamente este fruto. Se ayudará a esta dinámica con el uso
de letreros en el jardín y letreros pequeños para colgar en la chapa
de la puerta. Nuestro objetivo es que cada Colectivo se reúna, en
persona, en Country Fest 2021.
En segundo lugar, ofrecemos Formación de Fruto. Nos tomaremos
el tiempo para aprender sobre cada uno de los nueve frutos y ver
cómo vivirlos en nuestra vida diaria.
Finalmente, habrá Eventos de Fruto que nos conectarán con nuestra
parroquia y que permitirán que los feligreses se unan juntos, incluso
cuando cada uno puede participar en diferentes momentos y de
manera segura.
La IFES busca unirnos más profundamente con Dios y entre sí.
¡Trabajemos juntos y veamos cómo el Fruto del Espíritu nos trae
vida!

O Holy Spirit of Light and Love, to You I consecrate

May I be ever docile to Your Divine inspirations
and to the teachings of the holy Catholic Church
whose infallible guide You are.

with the love of God and neighbor.
May my will be ever in harmony with Your Divine Will.
May my life faithfully imitate the life and virtues
