                                        World Day of Prayer for Vocations
                      ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIEST is ranked among the four most difficult professions" in the
                      world. This is because a Roman Catholic Priest must be at the same time:
                      preacher, example, advisor, former, planner, minister, visionary, director, mentor,
                      friend, nanny, reconciler, marriage counselor, youth counselor, leader trainer, Bible
                      teacher, psychologist, intercessor etc.,
                      Besides being the church porter, corporate administrator, engineer, bricklayer, event
                      promoter, first to arrive and last to leave. And yet, all Roman Catholic Priests face
                      constant criticism such as: "the mass doesn't fill me", "the homily is too long"
                      "just think about money", "endless fund raising", "in addition to many others".
                      One of the most difficult things in a Roman Catholic Priest's life is knowing that the
                      people for whom they give their life will betray them. They are usually the most lonely
                      persons in the community: you can even see them always surrounded by people,
                      but rarely by people interested in their problems, needs or even in their life,
                      let alone in the demands that the communities themselves place on them.
                      Today mother church dedicates the World day of prayer for Vocations. We have a big
                      scarcity of priests in our country. It is our core responsibility to pray for vocations to
                      priesthood, religious life. Let us fervently ask our heavenly father to send the workers in
                      his vineyard.
                      If you have a ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIEST or PRIESTS as friends, take care of them,
                      protect them, pray for them, understand their vision, support them, but above all love
                      them, do not forget the promise of Jesus Himself. “And I will give you shepherds
                      after my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and intelligence"
                      (Jeremiah 3:15).
                      Therefore, take care of them because they personally watch over your souls, since they
                      will be accountable for them" (Hebrews 13,17). Let us honor with our prayers the lives
                      of all those Men of God who have sacrificed so many things, including some of their
                      own needs and that of their families to fulfill God's call.
                      Value the time a ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIEST dedicates to you.

                                       LA VOCACION DEL SACERDOTE CATÓLICO ROMANO
                                       está asociada entre las cuatro "profesiones" más difíciles del mundo.
                                       Esto se debe a que un sacerdote católico debe ser simultáneamente:
                                       predicador, ejemplo, consejero, planificador, ministro, visionario,
                                       director, mentor, amigo, niñera, reconciliador, consejero matrimonial,
                                       consejero de jóvenes, entrenador de líderes, maestro de la Biblia,
                                       psicólogo, intercesor etc.,

                                       Además de ser el portero de la iglesia, administrador corporativo,
                                       ingeniero, albañil, promotor de eventos, el primero en llegar y el
                                       último en irse. Y, sin embargo, todos los sacerdotes católicos
                                       romanos enfrentan críticas constantes como: "la misa no me llena", "la
                                       homilía es demasiado larga" "solo piensa en el dinero", "recaudación
                                       de fondos sin fin", "además de muchos otros".

                                      Una de las cosas más difíciles en la vida de un sacerdote católico
                                      romano es saber que las personas por las que dan su vida los
                                      traicionarán. Son las personas más solitarias de la comunidad: incluso
                                      se les puede ver siempre rodeados de personas, pero raras son las
veces que dichas personas se encuentran interesadas en los problemas del mismo sacerdote, de sus
necesidades o incluso su vida en general, y mucho menos en las demandas que las propias comunidades les
imponen.

Hoy la madre iglesia dedica El Día Mundial de Oración por las Vocaciones. Tenemos una gran insuficiencia de
sacerdotes en nuestro país. Es nuestra principal responsabilidad orar por las vocaciones al sacerdocio y la
vida religiosa. Pidamos fervientemente a nuestro Padre celestial que envíe más trabajadores para obrar en su
viñedo.

Si tienes un SACERDOTE CATÓLICO ROMANO o SACERDOTES como amistades, cuídalos, protégelos,
reza por ellos, procura entenderles su visión, apóyalos, pero sobre todo ámalos, no olvides la promesa del
mismo Jesús. “Y os daré pastores conforme a mi corazón, que os alimentarán con conocimiento e
inteligencia” (Jeremías 3:15).

Por lo tanto, cuiden de ellos porque ellos personalmente velan por sus almas, ya que serán responsables de
ellas" (Hebreos 13,17). Honremos con nuestras oraciones la vida de todos aquellos Hombres de Dios que
han sacrificado tantas cosas, incluyendo algunas de sus propias necesidades y las de sus familias para
cumplir el llamado de Dios.
