Your quinceañera will be a wonderful day and you will be planning many things to make your day special. The sacred liturgy, the Quince-Años Mass, will be at the center of your day. The Qunice-Años Mass is a beautiful prayer of thanksgiving to God for the gift of life and growth. Secular music and recorded music is not appropriate in the Catholic liturgy. Sacred music as a part of the Catholic liturgy means firstly, singing the Liturgy itself. For this reason, it is essential that you have a cantor or choir to lead the congregation in singing the liturgy. Parish musicians are available to you. Fees for their services are $350, and paid separately one week in advance of the celebration. Mariachi may not be hired to play during the Mass.
