Our Province of North America is specifically responsible for the missions in East Africa, Mexico and the Philippines. We provide person-
nel and financial assistance that is indispensable in order to maintain our charitable works and forma on programs for both laity and
clergy in these countries. Many of our apostolates in these countries specifically work to be er the living condi ons of the impover-
ished brothers and sisters we live with and minister to. In the Philippines, we sponsor educa on and aid programs for underprivileged
villages both in the Manila area and in other mission centers. Our newly founded parish in Orizaba, Veracruz Mexico ministers to an un-
derserved indigenous community.
Joining us will be Fr. Chano Lopez Solis,who joined the religious congrega on called Augus nians of the Assump on or Assump onists in
2011 and was ordained as a priest in Orizaba, Veracruz on August 15th, 2019. Fr. Chano has arrived in the USA 3 months ago and is now
currently assigned to the newly founded Assump onists community in El Paso, Texas at St. Francis Xavier Church. The forma on of lay
people and migrant ministry are his primary responsibili es.
