THE ST. MARK’S GIVING CAMPAIGN FOR 2022 Dear members and friends of St. Mark's - the St. Mark's Giving Campaign for 2022 looks to our church's future with hope, generosity, and great plans! The Giving Campaign seeks to receive a financial pledge (estimate of giving) from every St. Mark's household. Pledges may be made now, with the official in-gathering date of All Saints' Sunday, November 7. Our theme is: With all your heart: Connecting to hope. Giving with gratitude. Moving forward with faith. Given the challenges of the past year and a half, now is a time to look to our future with strong commitments to important projects and goals. For 2022 - St. Mark's can... - Make a significant investment in reinvigorating our youth program with dedicated clergy and resources. - Increase outreach support to local outreach partners (the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, Walk-in Ministry, etc.) and the Diocese of Chicago. - Increase compensation for our staff that is in alignment with just wages in Illinois – minimum $15/hour and in alignment with other peer churches and institutions. - Technology investments in computer equipment for Zoom worship and meetings, the music program and more. - Invest in our building: Mahon Hall carpeting and lighting. All of these goals and projects require the participation and generosity of all of our members and friends. Connect with hope, give with gratitude, and move forward with faith! Look for an email this week for making your pledge for 2022! Giving Committee Co-Chairs: Andrew Wassef (andy.wassef@gmail.com) and Jeanne Tschampa (jean.tschampa@gmail.com). 22
