This is Catholic Schools Week! Updated calendar attached. Please see the updated calendar attached of the activities taking place for Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 27-Feb 1). The Parent/Grandparent Luncheon is Thursday, Jan 31. On Friday, Feb. 1, donuts & coffee at drop-off and Fish Fry that evening. Fishy Fry form attached - students receive a TAG day on Friday for ticket purchase. Please plan to join us during this celebratory week! You can refer a family TODAY – please share the enclosed postcard with a prospective family and invite them to the Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 9 - 11 am. Prospective families must write the referring family’s name on the application when they apply. Like last year, we are holding a seat for your child(ren); the only open spots will be for any additional seats. Parents and family members can send them to the children and the kids can send them to
teachers and friends! A Candy Gram is a packaged Gourmet lollipop with a To/From card
attached.
Each lollipop costs $1 and you can order as many as you like.
The candy grams will be delivered to children in their classrooms on Thursday,
February 14th.
We have a sizeable amount of lollipops, but they will be sold on a first come, first
served basis, so get your orders in early. We will sell out.
Orders and payment must be returned to the school no later than Tuesday, February
12th.
Be sure and include first and last name & name of child’s classroom/homeroom teacher.
Make checks payable to All Saint’s.
Please send money and order form in an envelope labeled PTO.

Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is an annual celebration of Catholic education
in the U.S. Schools typically observe the week activities for students, families,
parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on
the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to
Church, local communities and the nation.

● Field trip to the state legislature by student government & 8th grade

● Lower schools celebrate School Choice with National Choice scarves
● 4th grade students to read to St. Thomas Pre-school

● Deacons/Sisters to visit classrooms before Mass

We’ll be training to run in the Virginia 529 1 mile Kids Run
part of the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K on Saturday, April 13th , 2019.
● PLEASE have runners run/ do drills at least one other day per week at
home
● Runners should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes during all
practices
● Running will take place off school campus in the surrounding
neighborhood some days
● Runners should attend every practice unless there are extenuating
circumstances
● Runners must be ready to have FUN but also ready to WORK HARD to
be prepared for the upcoming race.

Friday, Feb 1st
Dinners will be served from 5:00 – 6:30pm.
Take-out or eat in.
Each dinner will consist of fried fish, potatoes, green beans, roll, and a
drink.
Orders pre-paid by 6pm, Thursday, Jan. 31 will earn your child a
TAG day on Friday, Feb 1.
Please complete the form below and return to All Saints. Checks should be made
out to All Saints School. You may also call in your order and pay via credit card.
