Tuck Pointing Repair Coming Soon at St. Andrew (site )
Dear Parishioners of Jesus, Shepherd of Souls. Last fall, we had a company coming
to do tuck point work in the South Bell Tower in St. Andrew worship site. Part of the
repairs that are still needed at St. Andrew worship site are: Tuck point in the north
Bell Tower and South wall of the church near the rose window. All the repairs were
not able to be done last year due to the weather. We are planning on completing
these repairs before fall of this year, but for us to complete these repairs we need to
use money that was donated to the To Teach Who Christ Is Campaign for St.
Andrew worship site. The balance of the project for these repairs is $74,200.00. The
Archdiocese can help us with a Grant ($54,000) with the condition that the same
amount that they will provide, we use to pay the Archdiocesan Bills that we have.
Our parish finance council met on August 25, 2020 and approved the use of money
from the TTWCI Campaign. They were asked if we could take advantage of this
grant so we can pay a portion of the Archdiocesan Bill and they agreed to proceed.
Per Archdiocesan Guidelines, we need to let the parishioners know and see if
anyone has a question regarding the repurpose of the money from the TTWCI
Campaign. Please feel free to send any questions or concerns to

Reparación de Tuck Pointing (Punto de Pliegue)
Próximamente en el templo de San Andrés
Queridos feligreses de Jesús, Pastor de Almas. Durante el otoño pasado tuvimos una
compañía trabajando en la torre sur del templo de San Andrés. Parte de las
reparaciones que aún son necesarias son: la reparación la torre norte y la pared del
lado sur de la iglesia. Todas las reparaciones no pudieron hacerse el año pasado
debido al clima. Estamos planeando poder terminar con estas reparaciones antes del
otoño de este año, pero para completarlas necesitamos usar parte del dinero que fue
donado a la campaña Enseñar quien es Cristo para San Andrés. El balance par alas
reparaciones restantes es de $74,200.00. La Arquidiócesis puede ayudarnos con una
donación ($54,000) con la condición de que realicemos un pago de la misma
cantidad a las facturas Arquidiócesanas que tenemos. Nuestro consejo financiero de
la parroquia se reunió el 25 de Agosto del 2020 y aprobó el uso de dinero de la
Campaña. También se les preguntó si podemos tomar ventaja de esta ayuda de parte
de la Arquidiócesis para poder pagar una porción de las facturas Arquidiócesanas y
estuvieron de acuerdo en proceder. Siguiendo los lineamientos Arquidiócesanos,
necesitamos notificar a los feligreses acerca del cambio de uso de estos fondos de la
campaña. Por favor manden cualquier pregunta o preocupación a
