October 31, 2021 | Thirty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time Parish Update November is an important month in the Catholic Church. We celebrate All Saints Day on Nov 1, when we pray for all souls who have reached Heaven (Church Triumphant). On Tuesday, Nov 2, we remember and pray for All Souls who were born and have died before us and probably need our intercession (Church Purgative). Later in the month, on Nov 29, we begin a new Liturgical year beginning with the 1st Sunday of Advent - a time of preparation before the birth of Christ on Christ-Mass Day. Get ready for Jesus' Nativity - it is just around the corner!
