Parish Update
Today as we celebrate Pentecost, we remember the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit as tongues of fire into
the hearts and souls of the Apostles and Mary.
Through the grace and strength that was bestowed
upon them, they began their journeys to spread the
Good News of Jesus' life and resurrection, so that
Jews and non-Jews could turn their lives over to
God.
We received the gifts of the Holy Spirit when we were
baptized. It is through these gifts that God gives us
the direction and faith that we need to bring
ourselves and others to Him.
Open your hearts and minds to God. Listen for what
He wants you to do, then do them.
May we all respond to God's blessings, and may our
journeys bring us closer to Him!

Debt ReducƟon Campaign
The three year Freedom for Our Future Debt Reduction
Campaign is at an end. The results as of April 25, 2021:
$2,800,489 Donations Received
$283,862 Pledges Written Off (not paid)
$75,739 Remaining 97 Unpaid Pledges
$3,160,090 Total Pledges and one time donations from
2,352 households
Our Minimum campaign goal was $2.2 million to reduce our
debt by half. The Challenge goal was $3.5 million, and the
Freedom goal to retire the debt was $4.5 million. During this
three year period we have paid an ADDITIONAL $2.15 million
on the principal balance of the loan. The new principal
balance is $1,877,500. In 2018 the monthly payments were
$22,815. The current monthly payment amount has been
reduced to $10,586.
We are very grateful for the generosity of St. Mary parishioners for the success of this debt reduction campaign. We encourage
those families who still have unpaid pledges to make their best effort to donate as promised.
We look forward to continued donations to the "Parish Center" so we can eliminate this debt. Please continue to use the GRAY
Parish Center envelopes. We also encourage online "Parish Center" donations for your convenience. May God bless you for your
generosity as we strive for "Freedom for St. Mary's Future".
