THE HOLY FAMILY | DECEMBER 26, 2021 LA SAGRADA FAMILIA | 26 DE DECIEMBRE DEL 2021 PASTOR’S CORNERCONFESSION SCHEDULE | HORARIO DE CONFESIÓNES Merry Christmas! x All through our lives since as long as we can remember we’ve x shared this season’s special greeting. Merry x Christmas! Whether we are young or old, rich or poor, this announcement of Jesus’ birth reaches us again. x From the tiniest child comes the greatest news. Peace on Earth. x Goodwill toward men! Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you’re worn out. But something bigger than us isx breaking in with the angels’ song—something bigger than our whole world and its ills and cares. x x Here at Saint Isidore’s we can look back at so many gifts and challenges in this past year, and all of them are taken up in the arrival of this newcomer. The blessings of thesex months shine brighter, the burdens are lighter, with this always surprising arrival. x x x While Christmas is for us as regular as the earth’s orbit, the Christchild is disruptive: Jesus breaks into our world with something heavenly. Perhaps King Herod was the most aware, x knowing that this infant spelled the end of our world and our priorities. Or perhaps the shepherds and Magi x were just more ready to let go of what they knew for the new. x x Today turn your face to see this little baby. Whatever this past year has meant for you, whatever you carry today, x draw near to this little one. Peace on earth—Merry Christmas! x x CONFESSION SCHEDULE | HORARIO MASS Schedule | Horario de Misa DE CONFESIÓNES x Daily Mass, Bilingual | Misa Diaria, Bilingüe o Monday-Friday | Lunes a Viernes x Wednesday | Miércoles: 12:00 pm 11:00 am – 12:00 pm o Saturday | Sabado 8:00 am x Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | Jueves, x Saturday Vigil, Bilingual | Misa de Sábado, Bilingüe Viernes y Sábado: 6:00 pm 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm x Sunday | Domingo: o 8:00 am Bilingual Please be sure to check the parish website for any o 10:00 am English changes. o 12:00 pm Español *Por favor revise la página web de la parroquia para ver si ay algún cambio Baptism |Bautismo Baptisms are celebrated every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. THE HOLY FAMILY | DECEMBER 26, 2021 LA SAGRADA FAMILIA | 26 DE DECIEMBRE DEL 2021 Rincón Del Pastor ¡Feliz Navidad! Who needs your gentle and constant love as a daughter? We are the Body of Christ, friends. Those of us rejoicing in heaven, those of us suffering in purgatory, and those of us struggling here on earth. We are the great family. Let us love each other well. — Tracy Earl Welliver, MTS ©LPi EVERYDAY STEWARDSHIP - RECOGNIZE GOD IN YOUR ORDINARY MOMENTS All in the Family At first glance, we can often find the image of the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and the Christ Child intimidating — who are we to aspire to that level of discipleship? How could we ever hope to conform ourselves to that mold?
