ASH WEDNESDAY AND GOOD FRIDAY are days of fast for all Catholics
between 18 and 59 years of age. One full meal and two smaller,
meatless meals are permitted. Abstinence is to be observed on all
Fridays of Lent as well as Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
Catholics 14 years and older are bound to abstain from meat.
